For The BurgerBoys this will be the last review of the year, the winter break has started. But in 2018 we will of course return! Because of the cold and bleak weather we did not want to travel too far from Central Station, so 'Skek in Amsterdam was the perfect choice for this.

'Skek Amsterdam is located at the beginning of the Zeedijk. That is within perfect walking distance of Central Station and will take you at most 5 minutes.
Environment
The Zeedijk is where tourism in Amsterdam begins. Always busy and pleasant.
The BurgerBoys
Realm
'Skek is a student café and that is noticeable. When you enter you imagine yourself in a student living room, busy and cozy. The drinking area is neatly separated from the dining area.
Choices
Two burgers, the 'Skekburger' and a vegetarian burger. So actually only one relevant for the BurgerBoys (sorry).
Burger + Fries
The citizen
The 'Skekburger' is a beef burger (not specifically mentioned on the menu) with chipotle mayonnaise, cheese, tomato, pickle and (optional) bacon. Everything is served on a fairly large bun. The meat is quite soft and tender, perhaps a bit too soft for us. The meat itself is quite tasty and there is not too much fuss on the burger. The bun was also a bit on the soft side and could have been toasted a bit. All in all: simple yet nutritious.

The fries
It immediately became clear to us, far too few fries on our plate. But we were glad that it was not standard fries, but lazy fries of good quality. On the other hand, with this amount there was _well_ enough mayo (with spice).
Pros

Negatives
- Not enough fries.
- A little too soft, more bite.
Overall rating
'Skek Amsterdam is a nice café to visit. And because burgers are not the core business, they still did well. In addition, the waitress deserved an extra 0.1 score because she could bring the Vulcan Salute where Diablo clearly could not. Reason for him to give this extra point. When leaving, another 'Live Long and Prosper'.
